We grow in God’s love as we learn more about our relationships – with God, with ourselves, with others and for our world.

We develop as individuals as well as collectively in our nurturing environment.  We develop our knowledge and understanding in our wide and varied curriculum and we develop in our faith.

CURIOSITY

From the very youngest pupils, we encourage awe and wonder in our world, and this curiosity continues throughout our curriculum.  We are curious about others and faith and treat everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve. 

POSITIVITY

We encourage positive learning behaviours for the children and adults in our community.  We cater for the range of needs of all the individuals through our inclusive and welcoming school.  Our positive approach to behaviour management is modelled throughout the school.

RESPONSIBILITY

Throughout their time at St Joseph’s, we encourage responsibility – for ourselves, our behaviour, our learning, our community and the wider world.  We want each pupil to become a dedicated and responsible citizen.
