We would like to welcome you to Class 5 where the children are encouraged to develop an attentive attitude so they can enjoy their learning through a mixture of hard work and fun through an exciting and enriching curriculum.

TOPIC OVERVIEW FOR THE YEAR
Anglo-Saxons and Vikings; Christmas; Wild Waters; Easter; Mayans; Local studies – Droitwich canals and the Tudors (Prince Arthur, Henry VIII’s older brother is buried at Worcester Cathedral.)
- Homework – set on a Friday and due in the following Wednesday;
- Forest School – Autumn 1; Summer 1
- Reading Expectations – Reading every day and, at least 3 times a week, read aloud to an adult at home and sign reading record.
- Bikability – Summer 2
