Choir

The Choir 

The choir consists of children from years two to year six, who love singing! They meet with Mrs.  Moore on a Friday lunchtime, where they practice songs which are a mixture of hymns and gospel songs, as well as some for pure entertainment.  They have learnt a few descants to well-known hymns and can also sing acapella and in ‘rounds’, taking different parts simultaneously.   

During whole school hymn practice and during school masses, they lead the singing and they represent the school up in the Children’s Choir at The Sacred Heart Church whenever the occasion requires. They have also sung in the community, especially around Christmas time, and hope to keep finding new ways to celebrate in song!
